WorkforceBuilder is a hosted Job Portal Solution to support Regional Workforce Development by allowing economic development groups to host their own branded job site for their specific geographic region.

JOB PORTAL: Internet Job Portals are also commonly known as Job Sites or Job Boards, and are basically characterized as allowing Employers to post jobs and Job Seekers in turn to search for jobs. These internet sites range from simple job listings to robust search engines with a full set of features that provide a valuable experience to the end users. WorkforceBuilder is categorized as the latter.

HOSTED: By hosted we mean that there are no local installations to be performed, WorkforceBuilder is a sophisticated application that resides on National Internet Servers and is leased out as a service under your own domain. We take care of all installations and configurations, all you do is administer the site.

YOUR OWN BRAND: Although WorkforceBuilder is based on a common set of applications, each site can be custom designed to match marketing material that may already exist, thus allowing for a consistent look and feel in your regional marketing efforts.

DESIGNED BY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT EXPERTS

In the spirit of true economic development WorkforceBuilder was born from the worknplaynepa.com initiative which required a robust Job Site to be the heart and soul of the site. A search was conducted and no viable solution was found that could deliver the ease of use, performance, sleek design, and web interfaces for administrators to independently administer the site, view critical site demographics, and performance; Hence the very successful WorkNEPA.com was designed, developed, and successfully launched, and is now marketed under the name of WorkforceBuilder by Infinity Technology Group, Inc. However, this solution was not designed alone, it benefited from a collaborative design team that included over 40 Economic Development Partners.

Chambers of Commerce, Workforce Investment Board members, Regional State Agencies, Economic Development Corporations, Regional Alliances with financial assistance provided by a Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Northeast Pa Community Grant. The result? A full set of features that support regional economic development by bringing Employers and Job Seekers together. The site was a huge success and its value inherently obvious with 100,000 SEARCHES LOGGED PRIOR TO ITS 5 MONTH ANNIVERSARY.
